Will I Get Selected for the School Council? 😬🤞

Will I Get Selected for the School Council? 😬🤞 It's that time of the year again — school council selections are here! 🎓✍️ And honestly? I’m kind of freaking out. I’ve been thinking about it non-stop. What if I get selected? What if I don’t? My brain is running a marathon while I’m just sitting in class 😅. I’ve tried to do my best — participated in events, helped classmates, and shared my ideas whenever I could. But still, the doubt creeps in. There are so many amazing people in school, and everyone brings something special to the table. It’s hard not to compare myself with them 😔 ans that is what making me afraid of.... not being able to be one cuz rejection is bad Afterall  But here’s the thing — whether I make it or not, I’m proud that I even tried. 👏 It takes courage to put yourself out there, and this has already taught me so much about leadership, confidence, and self-belief. 🌟 Of course, I’d LOVE to be part of the council 💫. I have ideas, passion, and the willingn...

A Delicious Evening at Italian Affair, Vadodara: My Honest Review

 🌹THE ITALIAN AFFAIR 🌹

Date of visit: 31 May 2025

Location: Ground Floor, Arun Complex Near CH Jewelers, behind Old HDFC Bank, Alkapuri, Vadodara, Gujarat 390007, India

Last night, I visited Italian Affair in Vadodara, and it was quite an experience! From starters to dessert, every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with authentic Italian flavors.

Here’s a quick rundown of what I tried and loved:

🥕Zuppa di Carota (Carrot Soup) 🥕

This healthy Italian carrot soup was a great start. The natural sweetness of the carrots combined beautifully with garlic and a hint of peppercorns made it comforting and flavorful.

I’d rate it 8/10 — simple but satisfying.

 🥖Stuffed Cheese Garlic Bread 🥖

Farm-fresh bread loaded with garlic, cheese, onions, bell peppers, green chili, and spicy tomato sauce seasoned with Italian herbs. It was cheesy, tangy, and just the right amount of spicy — super delicious!

Definitely an 8.5/10 from me.

🧀Grilled Cottage Cheese in Chef’s Special Sauce 🧀

Cottage cheese marinated in Italian herbs, grilled perfectly, and served on a bed of tomato & pesto ragu. The sauce was slightly sweet initially but finished with a fresh basil kick. The cottage cheese was soft and well-spiced —

a solid 9/10.

🥦Cheese Fondue with Croutons & Exotic Veggies 🥦

This was the highlight! Melted cheese infused with Italian herbs, paired with perfectly cooked, sweet vegetables like carrots and broccoli — simply heavenly. The fondue was rich, and dipping the veggies and bread made it an unforgettable experience.

A full 10/10 from me.

 🍕Juliana Pizza 🍕

A wood-fired thin base pizza topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, onion, capsicum, sundried tomatoes, jalapeno, olives, chili oil, and coriander. It was loaded with fresh veggies and cooked just right. Though a bit spicy for me, spice lovers will adore it.

I scored it 7/10, but dipped in cheese fondue? That’s a 10/10 experience.

🍫The Chocolate Bomb🍫

An amazing twist on the classic chocolate lava cake, served with vanilla ice cream. The cake was spongy and bursting with gooey chocolate sauce — a perfect sweet ending to the meal.

No doubts here, a 10/10 must-try!

✨About The Restaurant ✨

Ambience & Service

The ambience truly felt Italian with tasteful décor. The staff was warm and   knowledgeable suggesting these dishes without hesitation. They were attentive — refilling water glasses and replacing plates promptly without being asked. It made the experience feel genuine and welcoming.

Pricing

The total bill was around ₹3200 (about $39 USD), which felt a bit on the higher side but justified by the quality and flavors of the food.

Tips for Visitors

To avoid crowds and waiting, I recommend visiting between 7 to 8 PM. Trust me, it’s worth the trip!

Overall, Italian Affair Vadodara is a great spot if you want authentic Italian flavors with a cozy vibe. If you love cheese and Italian herbs, this place should be on your list. I’m definitely coming back for more!
